Today everyone is talking about surgical strike, and today the media and news channels are flodded with its videos conducted by our Indian Army. But do you know about the first ever surgical strike conducted? We Indians have long known the concept of Surgical strike and we also have examples of it in our ancient texts.

Sundar Kand a chapter of Ramayna describes the first surgical strike conducted by Hanuman on Lanka – Kingdom of Ravana who has kidnapped Devi Sita.

Sundar kand clearly describes how Hanuman enters Lanka Finds Devi Sita and destroys important military outposts and set Lanka on fire.

By definition Surgical strike means a military attack to inflict damage on a specific target with no collateral damage to the surrounding areas.

This is exactly what Hanuman did, he destroyed important parts of Lanka, but took uttermost care to not to damage Ashok Vatika (where Devi Sita was held Captive) and Vibishan’s home (who was a devotee of Lord Rama).

He then returned back to Lord Rama, and provided him with insights about Lanka, this is exactly what our indian soldiers did during the surgical strike operation.

We have found proofs of surgical strike done by Hanuman, but some people doubt them as they doubt the videos of surgical strike done by Indian Soldiers.
