Check Important Details for Vaccine Registration in India: CoWin App
The CoWin app, through which users are going to be ready to register themselves for the COVID-19 vaccination, is currently unavailable for download on Google Play Store or Apple app store, the govt of India has clarified. CoWin app download could also be made available for users soon on a later date, and therefore the information regarding an equivalent are going to be disbursed through official mediums. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the most important vaccination drive. According the govt , nearly 7.5 million beneficiaries have already registered on the CoWin software to receive the vaccination.

While Prime Minister Modi has stated that the whole vaccination process will happen through CoWin app, users must confine mind the subsequent important points:
- The CoWin app is currently unavailable for download, and citizens are going to be informed through official sources on its availability.
- While the CoWin portal is currently available, it’s no self-registration option as of now.
- There will be no on-the-spot registration for the COVID-19 vaccination, and only names enlisted on the CoWin app are going to be allowed to receive the vaccination at designated Government centres.
- CoWin app will disburse real-time information on the vaccine stock, storage temperature and individual status of the beneficiaries and can also provide details on helplines to deal with queries.
- After vaccination, beneficiaries will reportedly receive a digital certificate which can help them keep a track of dosages and also create a database of these who completed the course.
- Officials have also asked citizens to watch out for scams involving callers asking people for Aadhaar number or checking account details within the pretence of getting them registered on the CoWin app. the govt has launched NO such initiative, and any such caller must be reported.
- Citizens should also watch out for fake CoWin app download options available on the online or on even trusted platforms like PlayStore or App Store.
