The different skin treatments

Peeling, laser, micro-dermabrasion or home care? What exactly are these different treatments that make it possible to sublimate the skin or erase its small defects? The answer, point by point.

The peeling:

There are three types of chemical peels, the principle of which consists in applying a desquamating product to the face (to peel, peel) in order to improve the skin and allow it to regain a second youth.

– Superficial peeling: rather light (because it is made from fruit acids), it acts as a real boost to the face. The desquamation, rather fine and progressive, is not very important but allows, in addition to tightening the pores, to remove some small fine lines and spots while accelerating cell renewal. Ideal for a facelift!

– The medium peel: more intense, this type of peel treats the epidermis as well as the superficial layer of the dermis. It can act on the overall uniformity of the complexion, improve the quality of the skin texture, eliminate acne scars and reduce fine lines. After the procedure – and therefore the application of a product such as TCA (trichloroacetic acid) – the skin takes between 3 and 5 days to heal.

– Deep peeling: recommended only in cases of very damaged skin and performed only on medical advice in a skin clinic, it affects the epidermis, the superficial dermis and the middle dermis. Its result is striking, both in terms of the result (the skin looks rejuvenated, more uniform, without scars or spots), as well as that of post-intervention suites (edema, itching, slow healing).

• The laser:

Very effective in treating dark spots, the various lasers on the market make it possible to visibly reduce acne scars, rosacea, “cemetery flowers” (located on the back of the hand), angiomas and spider veins, but also cellulite or even wrinkles.

The results are long lasting, but it often takes several sessions to achieve the desired result. The pain and redness, rather light, can persist after a session, but does not require withdrawing from social life …

• Micro-dermabrasion:

This aesthetic medicine technique, assimilated to mechanical peeling and similar to sandblasting, consists of spraying at high speed on the skin a set of micro-crystals, so as to remove the upper layer of the epidermis. The particles of crystals and debris of dead cells are then aspirated using a probe. The skin, thus stressed and stripped, will regenerate more quickly and appear sharper, softer, but above all more uniform and radiant.

• Home care:

For those who do not wish to go to an office or have a cosmetic procedure, there are now alternative home care. Thus, new-generation skincare products such as Lancôme’s Visionary Fundamental Corrector [LR 2412 4%] can treat all the skin problems to which women today seek a lasting and effective response.

Thanks to the presence of a new molecule (LR 2412) within its formula and its direct action on all layers of the skin, this serum therefore provides a direct response to wrinkles, dilated pores and skin. complexion quality. It can be used at any age, on all skin colors, in association with a usual day cream, it does not cause any skin reaction (if not a pretty skin!) And its action is visible from the first application.
